Are you ready to take on a new challenge in your professional career? Join this prestigious international law firm as a Junior Assistant to support inspiring and talented associates.
With offices across the globe, this firm has established itself as a key player on the international stage, handling major strategic cases. You will have the opportunity to work closely with renowned lawyers who engage with top executives and influential political figures on a daily basis. In this dynamic environment, you will join a multicultural team as a Junior Assistant within the Paris offices, working closely with the Office Manager and the Assistants.
Under the supervision of Assistants, your responsibilities will include managing the complex calendars of the lawyers, organising their business travel from A to Z, and scheduling client meetings, among other tasks. This role requires a high level of adaptability as you will face last-minute changes, time zone constraints, and the need to understand visa policies for business travel.
Beyond traditional administrative duties, you will also handle various financial tasks, such as monitoring billing, client follow-ups, and liaising with the accounting department. Your attention to detail and strong writing skills will be essential, as you will be dealing with important documents that need to be proofread, photocopied, and archived while maintaining confidentiality.
There is also a creative aspect to the role, as you will participate in organizing both internal and external events. You will represent the values of this prestigious firm, particularly in welcoming visitors, managing the mail distribution, and ensuring that each associate has the necessary documents ahead of their meetings, all while maintaining professionalism. You will also be responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep of the office, ensuring meeting rooms are organised for guests and that office supplies are always up to date.
What we are looking for:
Passionate about the legal sector, you are a flexible and organized individual. Your interest in law allows you to understand strategic issues, and you can offer support on legal matters. Given the international nature of the firm, a strong command of English is essential, with a bilingual level, equivalent to a native speaker. Excellent spelling and writing skills in both French and English are also required.
You will work within a close-knit team and should possess the right soft skills necessary for success in this role: service-oriented, teamwork, and a constant positive attitude. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount, as you will be part of a key department. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an asset, as is your ability to quickly learn new software. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where intelligent prioritisation is key, then this role is for you!
